I am currently a student at Western Michigan University, and I am studying Secondary Education with a major in English and a minor in Communication.

Throughout my childhood, I lived in various places, due to the fact that my father was in the military. As a result, I love traveling and exploring different cultures and communities.

One of my favorite activities has always been dancing. The creativity, freedom, and expressiveness of dance are aspects that I truly cherish.

As an English teacher, I see many similarities between dancing and writing. Both are creative outlets for expression. Both are crafts that take much discipline and practice. And both can result in the creation of a masterpiece.

As an English teacher, I hope to open my students' eyes to new cultures and perspectives through the exploration of literature. I also hope to assist students in the development of their unique voices through the power of writing and creative expression.
